Choosing a school for your child is an important decision. In order for you to be informed as completely as possible regarding our philosophy and what our programs can offer your child, we have several steps in our application process. Montessori Children’s Community has a rolling admissions program, based upon availability, as outlined below.

We have four Open Houses throughout the year. This is a great time to get acquainted with our school, meet our teachers, parents and students. We encourage you to attend one Open House with your child.

If you like what you see, we ask that you schedule a formal visit to the school and observe a classroom. After your “observation visit”, you may submit an application for admission with the application fee (non-refundable) of $50.00. Once your application has been received, your child’s name will be added to the list of perspective students. Priority is given to family members of current students. Applications are reviewed on a first come basis.

The next step in the process is an “Admissions visit” for your child. A teacher will meet with your child at this time and assess his/her readiness for the program. Letters of acceptance will be mailed.

We follow these guidelines to insure that all families have a sense about the school before their child would be considered for acceptance. We strive to find a “good fit” for the child and the school. Having a clear understanding of our philosophy and programs will insure a successful admissions process and ultimately happy children with enthusiastic parents.

MCC has a waitlist policy. In the event that the classroom is filled we will hold your application for one year. If a space becomes available we will contact you directly.

Montessori Children’s Community welcomes racial, cultural, and religious diversity, and families of every background. We admit students of any race, color, and national origin to all the rights, privileges, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
