Our admissions process is quite easy. Throughout the process, members of the MCC staff will help you to better understand the differences between a traditional education and an individualized Montessori education. By the end of the admissions process, we feel confident that you will feel MCC is the right fit for your child and your family.
+ Admissions Process
Admission is a simple three-step process
1. Schedule a tour
2. Submit a Competed Application
Submit a completed application with the non-refundable $75 application fee.
3. Request a Teacher Recommendation
If your child is currently enrolled in school, request to have a teacher recommendation sent to MCC Admissions Department.
4. Bring Your Child for a Classroom Visit
Elementary and Middle School Students (only)- spend a 1/2 day in the classroom while it is session.
5. Attend an Admission Visit
Attend an Admission visit with a teacher and your child to assess readiness for the program.
We follow these guidelines to ensure that all families have information about the school before their child would be considered for acceptance. MCC has a wait list policy. In the event the classroom is at capacity , we will hold your application for one year. If a space becomes available we will contact you directly. Letters of acceptance are sent after the admissions visit and the receipt of teacher recommendations (when applicable).
Our rolling admissions process allows students to be admitted throughout the school year when possible. We accept applications throughout the year for the upcoming academic school year and follow a “first-come, first-serve” policy for admittance to our programs. Priority is given to family members of currently-enrolled students. In the event a classroom is filled, we move your child’s name to a wait list on which we refer to the date that your application was received.

Can I drop by at any time for a school tour?
Due to the high interest in our program, tours are held in the mornings by appointment. We are happy to answer general questions on the phone or by email. You may also schedule a tour online.
Who should attend the school tour?
Both parents (if applicable & possible). The initial tour is for adults only; your child will have an opportunity to visit the classroom and the teacher at a later date.
Is there a waiting list?
Yes, normally, depending on the program.
How far in advance may I submit an application?
Parents are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
What are the factors that determine my child’s placement?
Depending on the openings that are available, our goal is to balance the classrooms by age and gender of the children.
Is there a sibling discount?
We do not offer a sibling discount at this time.
